Global oil gets a B2B app

International oil and gas company Maersk Oil briefed us to devise and build an app. This needed to show how they helped partners get maximum value from their energy resources by deploying complex, innovative global solutions.

Our first step was to stage a workshop with the client, to generate a clear structure that would work for all target audiences, and establish the required user journey. Then, after researching everything from consumer-facing online branding to music videos, we created an agile, cutting-edge app built and optimised for presentations on iPad Air.

Columns has delivered a modern digital platform which brilliantly showcases the value and vision of Maersk Oil. Usability and user interaction together with the app's visual impact and simplicity are key reasons why it has become integral to our conversations with partners, the media and prospective employees alike; helping build our corporate and brand reputation.
