Columns: celebrating 15 years
This year, we’re marking a big anniversary at Columns as we celebrate our 15th birthday. From our earliest beginnings to our latest work, we’ve seen lots of changes both inside and outside the business, but we’re proud to still be going strong. Here’s a look at what makes us us, some work highlights, and a peek at what goes on behind the scenes...
An independent operator
One of the biggest changes Columns has undergone was becoming an independent agency. In 2004 we struck out on our own and have never looked back. Since then we’ve been independent in our status and spirit, intelligent in our analysis and approach, and inventive in our skills and capabilities.
Over the years we’ve worked for businesses big and small, from global giants like Shell and JP Morgan, to unique, boutique start-ups. Working across a wide range of industries helps our thinking stay fresh and our approach stay flexible.
In the last 15 years we’ve produced lots of work we’re proud of, but some highlights include building a brand and defining a proposition for industry leaders ShuttersUp, working with one of the most creative property developers Argent, and most recently, helping two ambitious restaurateurs turn their dream into a reality by branding their new venture The Melusine.
Agency life is about more than just the work, and at Columns we’re keen to make sure the whole team maintains a good work/life balance.
